The tunes on the album are inspired by my move back to the east coast. In conjunction with the music, the title of the album comes from my twist on the music industry ideal for a jazz record- Six originals I didn't know what to do with.

Noah Barker, Jeffersonville via Manhattan, NY native and son of avant-garde jazz drummer Thurman Barker, finished the graduate jazz performance program at SUNY Purchase College in May 2014. Noah started playing piano at age 7 studying classical music and playing in churches at 13. He began studying jazz at 14, pursuing it at the University of Louisville. In school, Barker found a serious interest for composition in jazz, experimental, pop and electronic music.
As an outlet for his composition, Barker started Never Forever Records in 2013, and it has three physical releases and numerous digital releases to date: You Are Here (2013), Men Are Particles, Women Are Waves (2014), Working For the Sun (2015), Upstream Dreams (2015), Condition (2016), Adult Life (2017), Business Actual (2017), and In the Pouring Sun (2017).
